- This week I talked online with some guys in Georgia who raised $6000 to buy unfortunate kids bikes for Christmas (I thought it was an awesome outreach idea. He asked 200 people to buy $30 bikes from Walmart)
- As I write, I have 53 minutes left of the Daniel fast (don’t think I’ll snack after midnight, I’ll break the fast tomorrow). I’ve lost almost 20 lbs on the Daniel Fast
- God has showed me a lot of things the past three weeks in his word, prayer, and in books
- This book has ROCKED ME TO THE CORE!!! It is a MUST READ for anyone who is in ministry. (You can get a used copy on Abebooks for $1.19)
- I’m watching the Carolina & New York game… it just went into overtime!!
- Wednesday night was an AWESOME night in the student ministry as we closed the Christmas series with Myrrh.
- Had a good discussion with Trey Barker over some lunch Thursday, we talked about sharing the gospel with a guy that he works with.
- Went to see John Huff on Friday (Please pray for him, he has congestive heart failure and needs your prayers. his health is declining)
- Had a great time at the high school christmas party Friday night. We just hung out for four hours (it went by so fast)
- Had a LOT of fun at the committed couples Christmas party on Saturday night. (The fried turkey looked and smelled incredible!!!)
- I have really enjoyed 1 Samuel (God is showing me TONS in that book!)
- This afternoon I had an incredible time with my daughter hanging out in Stinson Park!
That’s all for now. We leave for Georgia & Tennessee in less than 9 hours… I still haven’t packed yet. (Plus the Giants and Panthers are in overtime right now!!)
