Pre-camp…

The band, the sound guys, the cooks, & the lifeguard all arrived at camp today. Everything is set up and ready to go. After a short amount of free time (where Taylor, one of our guitarists, caught this catfish), the students and I spent some time on this porch tonight reflecting on what God did two years ago – He moved like I have never seen Him before, students were getting saved, getting their lives right, and praying at a makeshift altar… for hours!

Yeah, we thought about that tonight and prayed that God would let His Spirit fall on us again. These students are ready to see The Holy Spirit work at both camps. This year camp is all about the function and role of The Holy Spirit in our life.

Opening night we will see WHY He is called the “Helper”. The Holy Spirt helps us in so many ways – if we’ll let Him. One of the ways we will see is that He prays for us (Rom 8). The Holy Spirit knows exactly what we need and asks God for it – that’s incredible!!

Will YOU take a few seconds & pray for us as we try to listen and follow HIS leading these two weeks of camp?

  • Praying!

  • I am there with you in prayer. Wow Kevin please tell your wonderful youth that He really does have a plan for their life and He is not a task master. I am having more fun than I ever had before when I was doing all kinds of crazy stuff. We are free, free to live the abundant life. Ok instead of preaching I will go to praying.
